For new users: as for October 2020 I can say with certainty that this is THE more reliable codec pack for Windows enviroment. I use it from year 2004 and I never encountered any kind of problem. For a Windows software it's a small miracle!. But why a power user should install a codec pack instead of separate codecs and filters installations? Because K-Lite can really fix broken codecs, wrong filters priority, re-register filters and so on. Also, fast and accurate assistance from the developer (this is very, very important). 10/10 for me. First time I give as a score 10/10.
